Touring with the Commander During the summer of 1996 I acquired a Classic 1978 Commander Motorhome Photo: Me
The first trip was actually a test to see if the old beast could actually hold up on long trips. Peter and I drove these girls up so they could do some San Francisco sight-seeing. We drove up from San Diego with no problems.
The second trip a few weeks later turned out to be the best trip of all. Five guys and I set out on a Thursday to see the Grand Canyon. Paulo, Carmine, Thomas, Marcus, Phillip and I ended up on a whirlwind five day trip that took us to Las Vegas, Zion National Park, Lake Powell, The Grand Canyon and a repair shop in Flagstaff.
Somewhere in the desert. . . The desert is a big hot place to drive through. "Super Pancakes" included in every trip. Blueberry. . . If you are lucky! [ Back to Grayson's Hompage ] |
