Spellbound Tours was born. During the summer in 1996 and 1997 I took many trips with foreign students who were in San Diego to learn English. These trips have been some of the best times in my life. I have made some of the greatest friendships and will never forget these adventures.

The first trip was actually a test to see if the old beast could actually hold up on long trips. Peter and I drove these girls up so they could do some San Francisco sight-seeing. We drove up from San Diego with no problems.

The second trip a few weeks later turned out to be the best trip of all. Five guys and I set out on a Thursday to see the Grand Canyon. Paulo, Carmine, Thomas, Marcus, Phillip and I ended up on a whirlwind five day trip that took us to Las Vegas, Zion National Park, Lake Powell, The Grand Canyon and a repair shop in Flagstaff.
